I'm still in love with you. I hope I get to see you very soon. I won't let on. Rather, I'll be very interested in what has been going on with your work.
I'd like to hug you when I see you, but may be afraid I won't be able to let go! I may try and find out. Feeling you and touching you will make my heart melt; I may find it hard to speak for a second. But, if I can run steady non-stop for two hours..or ride 100 miles in one day on my bicycle in eight hours....then I think I can practically do anything.
I got up very early....so I might have to take a little nap before I run.
I would love to see you. How about bicycling this summer? I would love to take you to dinner on your birthday coming up soon...but may just send a card. I think you're still with someone and even as friends that would be awkward; since in the past we have been so much more. Personally, I wish we could do a replay!

Don't ask me why.
I got to bed at 11 and woke up at 4:15 AM? Anyway, it's 6:15, I've taken my vitamins and as I was swallowing my hand full, downed with a protein drink. I clanced through Tuesday's paper and saw my half marathon results. Well, now I'm all excited and wouldn't be able to go back to sleep if I tried.
I came in 13th of at least 124 runners in my 55-59 age group. My time was 2:14:03. The ironwoman (she's really built and does ironman events) was 9th at 2:06. And yes, she has completed ironman competitions. I'm very amazed that I came in 4 places after her!
I got to looking at 60-64 age group and the winner for the full marathon was 5:06 or something; but five hours. So, I'm thinking if I could start now and work on it and keep my steady ten minute mile pace, I could beat that by the time I'm 60. Actually, my time (if I maintain) would be about 4:30.
Now I'm getting excited! I can hardly sit still in this chair. I may have to drive to the park and run around it.. about 5.65 miles.

Duke's Double Standard
Michael Nifong appears to be beginning to sweat at the Duke rape allegation forum. Michael will drag this out until after the district attorney election in a few weeks.
The rape test was done at "Duke's" Medical University hospital. I think it should have been done somewhere else.
A woman got up at the podium and wondered aloud just what happened to the kit between the hospital and the police department. In other words someone, perhaps hospital personnel, who knows, could have been protecting the university.
The house where the lacrosse team have had parties for years has a very negative reputation in the neighorhood. In the past a young woman locked herself in the bathroom and was seen climbing out the window nude trying to escape and she did manage to get away.
The lacrosse team coach at Duke resigned. Several members of the team have criminal records.
Michael Nifong, district attorney, soon to be up for re-election was trying his best to twist the speaker' words around after they spoke at the podium. It's evident to the common mind that these three guys whom the victim pointed ou are guilty. The victim bruised and with vaginal trauma accused three members of the Lacross team of rape. She can identify her attackers. I believe that their DNA was tampered with or that they were skipped and their DNA not tested.
It's obvious to me the DNA was tampered with, or these three guys were skipped. Supposively all 46 members had DNA tests done. In my opinion, it's a cover up to protect the reputation of Duke university and to protect the district attorney who is trying to please everyone and win election votes.
I see a double standard here for the elite and to hell with the poor suffering victim, another college student from North Carolina Central who was probably just trying to make some money to get through school. This is an atrocity of justice and human dignity and just proves that sports fanatics will go to major extremes to win. This type of behavior just depicts the aggressive mentality of sports fanatics in this community. These people handling this cover up are idiots and giving these young men a clear signal that any type of behavior is accepted as long as you are good at lacrosse and as long as the university win, and people think the university is a wonderful place. Personally, I would never send my child there after hearing all of this. This university is letting themselves wide open for more serous crime to occur. They are putting out the message that anything goes and we will protect you. They better wake up, because what happens when one of your golden boys end up killing somebody? Wake up you are making fools of yourself and not fooling anyone. Just how stupid do you think people are? No matter is these three guys get convicted or not YOU LOSE..the message is out.. your credence is down the tiolet right along with the evidence.
Even the defense attorney said there is no DNA evident what-so-ever to prove the allegations of this "one complaining" woman. What a horrible and very obvious cover-up. Even the defense attorney is blantantly favoring the university and trying to protect them. I'm sure this guy jumped right up and volunteered to defend her. What a horrible atrosity of justice. What a horrible example of a the double standard of wealth and prestige. The university, the defense attorney and the district attorney now trying to delay the outcome of the trial until after the elections I'm sure. But either way, or whenever there is a trial this poor victim will not get justice. This poor girl doesn't stand a chance in hell in getting justice and my heart goes out to her. This is no better than in the early part of the nineteenth century when women had no rights at all.
In my opinion this poor girl needs to get out of town and stay away form there; because I'm sure she is probably getting threats from the university and the team. Her own defense attorney is working against her, for god's sake. I say get out of there and get on Oprah and write your book and bring these people down or at least make life hell for them.
There is no honor, no integrity, no pride and apparently there is no justice and brutality, threats, and double standards are the nature of the male beast in power.

Bush needs to president...
Bush needs to demand the house and the senate to stay and get a border security act in place and as soon as possible. These immigrants need to learn English, pay back taxes.
But like Lou Dobbs say this government is incapable of organizing working together and getting anything done. Despite 9/11 this government has not taken care of the Mexcian border and Mexico needs to get involved. There are drugs too coming across the border..that problem was never resolved. Bush is a rotten president. Clinton would have demanded the house and senate get it resolved. Clinton would have gone to Mexico and sat down with their President Fox.
Lou Dobbs thinks the number is probably 20 million not 11 million illegal immigrants. Oh I guess the catholic church loves it. The number one bunch of hypocrites in the business.
People mostly men are coming from Central American, 1200 miles to get to the border to cross over through the desert to get to America.
The Prsident needs to work with Mexico and see that these people who live there get jobs to feed their families. Yet Bush concentrates on nothing but the middle east and Iraq. Is this man nuts are what?
The illegal immigrants are supposed to pay 2,000. to get sneaked into this country. They don't have it, so they try to come on their own through the desert through Arizona.
Per CNN 53& of all immigrants come from Mexcio; 13% from Latin America.

My news favorite Lou Dobbs say he just can't believe it has been four years since 9/11 and our borders and harbers are not being secured by our National Homeland Security. Seventy-five percent of the populations are truly discussed with his inability to perform as president.
Bush is the one who is commander in chielf, yet he cannot even hold a news conference with college students that sounds half way intelligent. They ask him a question and he says. "I don't know. You tell me". or " I don't know I'll refer that to so and so". Clinton a poor boy from Arkansas became a Rhode scholar now that man was a president. Once more I believe the Republicans realized this and has to spend eight years with smear tactics to discredit him. Politics is truly a nasty dirty business... if you are good if people like you the republicans will try like hell to ruin you.. the hell with the running of the country or the welfare and benefits of the tax paying citizens. The last years of Clinton were filled with legal fees to try to bring Clinton down.. and he was a good president.
So what do you think about illegal immigrants, all 11 million, coming out to protest the way they are being treated and demanding legalization. The audacity! Bush this is your fault, because you do not know what the hell you are doing. You are the top dog. You are suppose to oversee what these idiots on Capitol Hill are doing. They are making a mockery out of you and you don't even know it. Bush is an embarrassment. The only thing the bush administration cares about is the oil in the middle east and Haliburton getting the no bid contracts. I think Bush has left the loose border conditions go on too long. If he doesn't board up the borders and get serious about this he is really going to have his hands full.
At this point security truly sucks in this country. These Mexicans think that they are good enough to come here and do the dirty work now they are demanding benefits and illegalization. One Mexcian said NAFA messed everything up for them, it I guess allowed American companies to go into Mexican and use their soil and take work away from Mexicans so now they want retribution.
I can just see all the old white headed gizzers arguing and fussing in the house and senate. Bush is probably cluelessly somewhere in a corner watching a baseball game. The guys a joke.

Take a look at the faces of the women sitting around this guy. They are shocked that this man is actually speaking out against the president while face to face with him. It's fabulous.
