I just watched JFK with Kevin Cosner...

and yes, that's our government for you...why don't they just come on out and say they are spending tax dollars for their own and big business profits and in the process establishing huge global debts. What 19 trillion in debt?

Government of corporate power for corporate power profits, that's the American way. Keep the Republicans in office...fix a few elections...that's the American way. Well mid-term elections...I guess they had to let that one be honest - for a change (well, for a couple of years anyway) The Republicans will be back on track with Jeb Bush in 2008.

Getting back to big business and Vietnam. There were 9 thousand helicopters built and bought for the Vietnam war..just one example of your tax money at work and contributing to big business profits. Yes, there is profit in war...Hello! Haliburton..ring a bell with you? Does the work "oil" mean anything to you? Big business....at work!

Big corporations CEOs are getting rich and your jobs are being out-sourced to third war countries for cheap labor. So, how are you going to make a living here in the states?

Keeping thinking...if you can imagine it being done overseas for less then do not choose that particular job for your career job. Even X-rays are being read overseas..how scary is that?

But truth be told, the stock market is doing well...so we should all be happy.....Happy Holidays!

It's the American way.... and so far it works....

But, what about global warming in the process... something big business and republican government let get out of hand. Well, insurance companies are making a mint and there is lots of work to be done by illegal roofers and builder from south of the border...

There is money in natural disasters and illness and obesity..oh and war... it is what keeps our economy booming...

the American way

I had friends over to watch

"Fingersmith", the lesbian movie, this evening so for some reason it feels like Saturday. Early today in the morning, I ran five miles to the gym, swam for an hour, then worked out some on the weight machines, then ran the five miles back home. I love swimming....so truly enjoyed myself. The run was good too!

Then when I got back I walked to the nearby market and got chicken soup for my friend who has a bad cold.

My two friends who came to visit me this evening are both getting over colds. They are very sweet and I am so glad that I got to see them this evening. Oh by the way, I'm over the crush. I see things in a different light not. A wiser shade of gold.

I believe that I have gained much wisdom over time and see things more intuitively and more in depth.

I'm hot! I look good and receive compliments a lot. Well, I do work my butt off. It took me four hours today.

Tomorrow, the weather should be pleasant..maybe I should ride my bicycle before the rains come.

I'm tired! I think I'll go to bed..I miss her. I miss holding her and being held in return...she kisses my head...I like that. She cares about me. I know she genuinely cares about me.

I miss her and I won't see her for a few days yet. It's what I am reminded of when I see my two young friends together who are dating. She and I won't have this. They have no baggage and can simply enjoy each other. I am happy for them.....did but will no longer expend the energy to be even a little jealous.

There are plenty of women out there and as simply as these two found each other... I will find someone who can be here for me and me for her. And it will happen when I am ready for it to happen. She and I must be very compatible.

Good Weekend!

It's been a good week! My dog is driving me crazy, however! She bugs the heck out of me. I have never seen a more bossy dog. She makes demands. I'm complaining only because I am trying to write here and she is pestering me for a treat when she should be eating the dog food in her dish - and she does it. But, we go through this every evening. Especially when she sees me sitting here at the table typing. Right now she is doing her little dance. Soon she will be making throating sounds and may even bark. I am trying to ignore her! She knows that she should eat the food in her dish; but, like a five year old child she tries every treat in the book to avoid eating what she is supposed to be eating. Now comes the dance with the added throatly sounds. I am just about ready to bust out laughing. Now, she positions herself on the other side of the table and about throws her head off of her neck, trying to get my attention. She wants another treat. Either a Purina bone, or a Purina bacon strip...anything, but the food in the dish she knows she should be eating. I'm not giving in because I have given her two treats already. Soon she'll give up. Yeah, she is thinking about it already. Her name is Emma, she is my 95 pound, fifteen year old rottweiler. Okay! She is heading back into the kitchen; she just about to give up but still hanging on a little dance. Okay! Her head is in the dish; but she comes up and looks at me, to make sure that I still won't give her a treat. She needs to eat her food because it has Glucosmaine Chontroitoin in it which is good for her connective tissues and bones. She still hasn't given up. She's not a dog; but rather a demanding roommate who won't take "No!" for an answer. I'm not giving in. I ask do you have to go outside! And she jumps all over... okay, here we go!

Now we are back in again. I'm going to bed to get away from her.

Damn spoiled dog!

Well, maybe I'll write about my "good weekend" absence the dog, some other time.

See Rottweilers are "too" smart. They are more like five year olds. And drive you crazy...and they are stubborn.

Next time, I'll get a cat!

This is the warmest autumn in London in 374 years

and they had a tornado which is practically unheard of in the UK. Global warming? You bet! But, I'm sure the Evangical Christians are still claiming that the global warming is nothing more than scare tactics by the Democrats (certainly not by the Republicans, they are the ones giving oil, auto and other industries the green light and removing what little clean-air regulations that were in place; or allowing them to extend laws out to 2010. By then, it might be too late!

CO2' effect on global warming is a new experience for mankind. The world has never had 40 billion people on it before. There has never been so many gas guzzling, air polluting vehicles on this planet, or leaf blowers, or snow mobiles, or speed boats.

In the 1950's, besides having a very small population there was one automobile per household; today there are from two to four at least.

And all this fussing over Iraq is silly. The Bush dynasty got exacting what they wanted out of it and that is to have a Haliburton (tax money guzzler) foot hold there to protect the oil and put the tax payers money in Republican big business cronies' pockets. I think this dynasty knew from the get go that there would be nothing gains by sending troops to Iraq. I think the troop are to protect the Haliburton employees. Iraq is in ruins. It is ludicrous to think that these people even want democracy. They want to fight and kill each other; or they all want a piece of the oil fields.

I believe if it were not for big business wanting oil and the giant profits it brings in; then, we and the rest of the world long ago would have gone with electric cars. Early in the 1900's when Ford came out with the gasoline engine other companies came out with an electric engine which was crystal clean of air pollution, so opposite of the gasoline. Even then, the electric was much more popular but Ford snuffed that out quickly. Just as GM did in the early 2000 when California demanded an electric car. People loved them, leased them (they weren't for sale - tells you right there that that the GM idea was only a temporary appeasement to quite state officials. Then Bush got in the picture and over-ruled California's clean-air bill) until the the supply was depicted. People demanded and begged GM to further provide the electric car.

But, the big three, declined. In fact they stopped production fearing the rest of the nation would prefer electric over gas and there would go the driving up of the gasoline price and the huge profit margins oil, auto, and government were bringing in. They are all in cahoots.

And why don't we heard anything from Saudi Arabia? Or Asama bin Laden? Friends of the Bush dynasty? All in cahoots? Learning to fly airplanes into tall buildings so we would have an excuse to get into Iraq to go after Saddam Hussein, a man who did not attack us? Personally, I think we attached ourselves! Clue number 1, the perfect camera placement to capture the planes (from all angles) hitting the buildings.

I just saw TV coverage of Jack Ruby shooting the Russian who supposedly killed Kennedy. Perfect camera coverage! It was planned. The whole thing was a conspiracy. The republicans didn't like what the Kennedy's were doing for the poor and blacks. They didn't like that Kennedy wanted to pull out of Vietnam (another war for big industry profit).

Oh and wars help keep the populations down. Even now Army recruits go into poor industry abandoned cities such as Detroit and deliberately trap young people into joining the military by offering them college tuition (which they will never live long enough to get) and $20,000. that they can leave their families in their deaths.

It plain to see that this is not a government for the people; but rather, a government for the government and big business.

M

Tomorrow afternoon M is coming over. I can't wait to see her! It's been two weeks. I can't wait to hold her body close to mine. Just the thought...

She keeps me sane in this insane world. I am looking to date. I would love a relationship. She's...well..married with grown kids and a grand baby. He knows. This I don't quit understand. He's her best friend. I have a feeling someone is hurting more than the other.

She and I got together because we had a conversation about ex partners and relationship. I could tell she too was wanting and hurting. I mean hurting!

So, I called her the next day and the rest is history. She says she will never leave him. I don't want her to. I want us to have what we have.

But, I do miss a relationship. I want a loving relationship. I want someone who wants me. Someone who is hot! Actually, I met a gal last weekend who was; but, you know how that goes. I'm probably not her type and I think she still cares about my friend whom she was dating. So, there goes that idea.

Last night at the party there were no dating prospects at all.

I'm just a little older then the cool ones. So I guess I'm out of luck!

I wish people would not look at my chronological age but my active, fun loving personality. I do have a hot body. I was told so last weekend by a 35 year old.

Well, I think I'm getting tired now. I should be tired and I should be aching all over but I'm not. Yoga is a wonderful thing to do after a straining work-out day.

In the precious entry I stated what I did today. Oh, allow me to brag about myself just a bit more. I ran five miles to the gym; swam for forty minutes, worked out on the weight machines for about thirty minutes. Then I rode a road bike like stationary bicycle for only about ten minutes, but I had the tension very high. Then I ran the five miles back home.

I'm not finished yet; in the evening I went to yoga.

I feel great!

Well, here's to me and loving and dreams coming true.

How bout this for a work-out?

Today was partly cloudy with temperatures in the 40's. So, as I did yesterday, I did again today and that is running five miles to the gym, then swimming for forty minutes, then working out on the weight machines for about 30 minutes. Today I even road the stationary mock road bike but only for ten minutes with high tension. Then I ran five miles back home.

Oh, I'm not finished. This evening I went to yoga class. I love the class and I really like Teri. I like her a lot and wish I could take her home with me. Forget it! She's straight and only recently married. I'll say one thing; her husband is a handsome guy.

So, now I'm wide awake. Well, I had two Accel Gel chocolate with protein before I left home and then after I swam I had another...for the run back home.

I love swimming! I think I did about fifteen laps maybe. Maybe less? Just guessing. I was combining the side stroke with the crawl until I get my breathing down. I'm fastest of all swimming the bufferfly on my back. I guess that is what it is called. I kick my legs like a frog and my arms go out and come back in together pulling up toward my chin. I can really feel the pull on my upper inner arms. They feel tight! Anyway, I had a blast!

The Party was a Bust!

Yeah, I just thought I would check in; but, I'm sort of out of the loop. They're friendly enough. Of course, I don't put a whole lot of effort into it. I guess if I was needier? Who knows maybe we just don't really connect. There are some pretty cool people.

And some not so cool. I gal is a down right pest. First of all, she walks up and butts into my conversation I'm having with two cool gals. And then she has her creepy hands all over me. I hate that! I told her in so many words to "get lost" the last time I encountered her. She is persistant. I can't stand her and this time I told her as much. Some people you just have to be direct with.

She can't understand that I first I was friendly. Well, I was doing it "just to be friendly for the group". Hello! And then another so called friend invited her along on an outing and directed her to ride with me and my date. My date and I had a troubling time that weekend and I partly blame this idiot and her mouth. When she and I were along before that weekend, we were fine.

She thinks she is cute! I can't stand her. I just want her to go away.

Once in a while, life is a wreck.
